On 25 June 2026, the Fondation CHU Teh-Chun awarded its inaugural Encouragement Prize to Bérénice Gaça Courtin, a graduate of the Master of Arts in Visual Arts at HEAD – Geneva.
Created in partnership with HEAD – Geneva, the Prize aims to support young graduate artists as they enter professional life, by fostering the development of their practice at a pivotal stage in their careers.
The jury recognised Bérénice Gaça Courtin for the singularity and coherence of her artistic approach, the quality of her research and experimentation, and her ability to engage with contemporary issues. Her project Protocole de bruit explores notions of memory, transmission and resistance through family history, and is distinguished by the dialogue it establishes between art, history and technological innovation.
The Fondation CHU Teh-Chun extends its warmest congratulations to Bérénice Gaça Courtin, as well as to all graduates of the 2026 cohort of HEAD – Geneva.
