Awarding of the “Chu Teh-Chun” prize at Ecolint

June 2022

The CHU Teh-Chun Prize was created by the CHU Teh-Chun Foundation and the Arts Centre of the International School of Geneva to support young artists and to encourage young students who show an outstanding artistic potential.

It thus supports students who have completed their final course in visual arts at the International School of Geneva and who are considering higher education in that field.

The award is granted following a proposal by the Head of the School’s Visual Arts Department in consultation with its teaching staff.

This prize was awarded to two students from the 11th grade of Ecolint on Tuesday the 14th of June 2022: Liva MACAZAGA  and Milou Noemi HOEFT, for their involvement in their artistic projects, their creativity and the achievement of their work.

« It is a great pleasure to be at ECOLINT to present the first CHU Teh-Chun Foundation Award. Creativity and freedom have allowed CHU TEH CHUN to build his career and to fulfil himself as an artist. I am very happy about this partnership with ECOLINT as I strongly believe in the importance of art and artists, and I think we share this value with ECOLINT. The exhibition of the year-end projects impressed me by their quality, congratulations to all the students for their creativity, their technique, their investigation ! Congratulations also to the teachers who accompanied them,” says Yvon CHU, Vice President of the CHU Teh-Chun Foundation.
