The title of this work pays tribute to Chu Teh-Chun's profound affinity for poetry. As a passionate reader, he owned an impressive collection of books, including those by great Chinese poets, from whom he drew inspiration for his calligraphy. However, his love for poetry was not confined to his native culture: he also held a particular admiration for French poets, notably Guillaume Apollinaire, whose verses resonated with a rare affinity for his own artistic universe.
In Poème Bleu, Chu Teh-Chun creates a composition where colour and gesture unite to convey musicality and emotion, offering a visual intensity that evokes the powerful essence of poetry itself.
